DESCRIPTION

Yoga is from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means union of mind and body. This online and physical classes in Tigoni are geared to work on the body through “Asanas-postures” and meditation practices eg Breathing- pranayama in Sanskrit, mindfulness meditation and transcendental meditation with the use of mantras. Focus of the mind is as important as the body postures but all is one, YUJ.

DESCRIPTION

Mani took part, in Cochin -Kerala, southern India a yoga teachers training course at Chinmaya University. Along himself were 30 other students from different fields from all over Europe and Asia. 
The course is designed in a way to understand that yoga is a way of living, from starting really early in the morning 4:30 am to 9:30 pm everyday together. Learning not only over 300 postures, but also, all the 6 branches of yoga ;- 

  1. Raja yoga- Meaning- 'Royal', 'Chief' or 'King', alluding to being the 'best' or 'highest' form of yoga. ...

  2. -Jnana yoga-Meaning: Wisdom or knowledge. ...

  3. -Tantra yoga-Meaning: The root word of Tantra is 'Tan' meaning 'to expand' or 'to weave'. ...

  4. -Hatha yoga-Meaning: 'The Yoga of Force'. ...

  5. Bhakti yoga - Meaning worship

  6. Karma yoga- work, chores etc
